Use Pipedrive with AI via MCP
Pipedrive is built around a clearly guided sales process – deals move visibly through stages, with activities attached to them. Since 30 June 2026 there has been an official, generally available MCP server at mcp.pipedrive.ai. CompanyGPT uses it so sales teams can ask about their pipeline in conversation.
What is Pipedrive?
Pipedrive is a sales-focused CRM system with Estonian roots. The pipeline view sits at its center: deals move through defined stages, and each deal carries contacts, organizations, notes and scheduled activities. Around that core come features for email connectivity, quotes and automations. Pipedrive is used above all by small and mid-sized sales teams looking for a manageable system with clear process guidance.
That structure is an advantage for AI agents. Because Pipedrive consistently models sales work as deals and activities, questions about priorities, stalled opportunities or the history of a closing can be answered cleanly from the data. The agent does not have to interpret free text; it can query in a structured way.

How to Connect Pipedrive to CompanyGPT
Since 30 June 2026, Pipedrive has provided an official MCP server at mcp.pipedrive.ai/mcp. It is generally available, operated by Pipedrive itself and addressed over streamable HTTP – no installation of your own required. The integration is available across all Pipedrive plans.
Authorization runs on OAuth: each employee connects their own Pipedrive account, so their visibility and editing rights also govern the agent. Actions carried out over MCP are recorded in Pipedrive’s change logs – so you can trace which changes were made through the AI connection; read-only access is not covered by that log.
On the CompanyGPT side, your administrators decide by role and group who may use the Pipedrive integration. In addition, an agent’s scope can be narrowed, for example to read-only access for reporting purposes.
Typical Use Cases
How AI agents in CompanyGPT work with Pipedrive
Start of the sales week
The agent names the deals with an activity due this week and summarizes the most recent contact for each in a few sentences.
Spot stalled deals
Sales leadership asks for deals that have sat in the same stage for a while and has the documented reasons compiled.
Turn call notes into records
After a call, the rep dictates the outcome into CompanyGPT; the agent creates the note and the follow-up activity on the matching deal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Pipedrive and AI – the most important answers
Is there an official MCP server for Pipedrive?
Yes. Since 30 June 2026 Pipedrive has run an official, generally available MCP server at mcp.pipedrive.ai/mcp with streamable HTTP as transport.
Do we need a particular Pipedrive plan?
No. According to Pipedrive, the MCP connection is available across all plans. Which data is reachable follows from the permissions of the connected user account.
Can we trace what the AI changed?
Yes. Actions carried out over MCP are recorded in Pipedrive's change logs, so administrators can see which changes came through the AI connection; plain read access is not logged there.
Can the agent also create or move deals?
Write actions are possible in principle, but depend on the exposed tools and the permissions of the connected account. In CompanyGPT an agent can also be limited to read-only.
Where is the data processed?
CompanyGPT runs in your own cloud tenant and calls the Pipedrive endpoint directly. No additional platform sits in between; Pipedrive itself remains governed by your existing contract.
